As a building inspector serving Québec City and the Portneuf area, I focus primarily on pre-purchase inspections. Buying a home comes with plenty of questions and, often, a little stress. My role is to help you understand the condition of the property so you can move forward with confidence.

My role is to give you an honest, straightforward assessment: clearly explain my findings, help you understand the property as a whole, and give you the information you need to make an informed decision.

My Google profile has a 5-star rating, and my clients often highlight the quality of my explanations, my availability, and the way I put them at ease. That’s important to me. An inspection should be thorough and professional, but it should also be easy to understand.

During the inspection, I take the time to point out the things that matter most and answer any questions you may have along the way.

Some things need attention sooner than others, while some are simply part of regular home maintenance. My job is to help you understand the difference, know what to focus on first, and put things into perspective—without making a big deal out of something that isn’t, or overlooking something that is.

I’m a certified, independent building inspector, a member of APCHQ and part of the Inspec-Thor team. I regularly take additional training to keep my knowledge up to date and continue deepening my understanding of buildings and how they work.

Before becoming a building inspector, I spent nearly 15 years working as a high-end landscaping contractor. I also spent several winters renovating heritage homes. This experience taught me to be methodical, pay close attention to detail, and look at a building as a whole.

Every home is unique, and every inspection is a little different. My goal is to make sure you leave feeling comfortable and confident, with a clear understanding of the home, what matters most, and what to keep an eye on moving forward.
